This should be obvious to all
It’s a photo of my older first pair of Waigeo jobiensis, I took that photo about one year after I imported them, so they are well established and healthy, notice how the tail of both monitors have faded.
That was the consequence of a deficient diet, not deficient in the nutritional sense, but in the pigmentation sense.
This color fading doesn’t happen anymore with my new diet, this pair of the same specie clearly shows a striking difference.
Sorry I cant access any better photos of other jobiensis at the moment, but still these show the point I am trying to make.
