I never said you were wrong but I do think you came up a little short.. The original poster was asking for opinions... You made a statement with an underlying implication that it was indeed, perfectly normal without mentioning the fact that it may not be normal.. Being an experienced boa keeper like yourself isn't it your/our duty to be a little more responsible with answering the questions of inexperienced keepers? Without being completely knowledgable on the subject, isn't it a little irresponsible to not mention the possibility of something negative? You don't even understand why your ONE female does it, you are just under the assumption she is Ok because she hasn't died yet. You ask why should you suggest the poster to take a trip to the Vet? Because you, nor I are in a position to say whether that behavior for that particular animal is alright or not and the poster is obviously not qualified.. I'm not attacking you, I'm debating an answer that I don't feel was in the original posters best interest. I understand you didn't mention anything about the boa in question.. What was the point of your post? "My boa is perfectly fine but I don't know anything about yours" Wasn't the poster asking for advice?
