I agree that this is a forum where experienced keepers/breeders can share advice with less experienced keepers.

In this situation, both the posts prior to mine suggest taking the snake to the vet. you have already advised taking the snake to the vet. When did I disagree with that?



The reason I posted is simple. A question was asked, is this right? I responded with my experience. In my experience the snake I have that displays this behaviour is perfectly healthy. She has been vet checked and got the all clear. She has bred multiple times and produced healthy litters of babies. As pointed out in another post, this question came up several months ago and the responses, if I remember correctly were that this behaviour is observed in breeding females with a degree of regularity. Now, by regularity I mean that of the people that responded, they observed this behaviour. I too have observed this behaviour.



I appologise to the original poster. I will, in future strive to repeat the reponse of each and every reponse before me, and then relate my experiences.
