I have a colony of Blaptica Dubia, though I don't think they are the fastest breeders or growers. It takes a while to get a colony established but once they are breeding well enough I don't think it really matters how fast the breed or grow, as it should be self sustaining by the time you start feeding from it.

Check the arachnoboards.com forums for plenty of info on roach feeders as well as sources for buying them in their for sale forum.

I've heard that Blatta Lateralis grow faster and are non-climbers, but they are smaller and the roaches themselves are a lot faster moving. B.dubia are nice and slow and grow pretty big, like 2-3 inches.
