They're about the same size as lobster roaches, but can not climb smooth surfaces. B. Lateralis roaches are egg case layers and breed very fast. They also don't live as long as most of the bigger roaches..9 months to a year tops. B. Dubia are slower breeders, bigger in size and have live babies...no egg cases. They also live longer...a year to 1.5 years is normal for the females. They are also known as orange spot roaches (not orange head, those are different). [ Hide Replies ]
