Which is the difference between academic and applied. heehehehehehehe. Sorry, you allowed dumb old me to do that one.
Actually there are zillions of ways to look at this and all laws for that matter. There is the letter of the law and the intend of the law. Then there is various individuals interpitation of the huge grey area between those. Thats why they make lawyers.
But this most likely is not about that. Its again the assumption that these animals came from Thailand, If they did, then many laws were broken, from the Thai's laws, to international lacie act violations. But if they didn't, as claimed, then no laws were broken.
And Yes, I am fully aware the Mcota believes black waters "ONLY" come from Thailand, and he may be right, but because two other black waters(not as black????) come from indo, then its very possible that these black waters also come from indo. With 14000 to 18000 islands, there is a very strong possibility of that being true. The question of black waters and blacker waters(all having the same genus and species) will surely muck up the old court system and get thrown out. And as new island monitors are popping up faster then Daisys, there is good reason to believe they are indo. But who knows? and that is the point. Cheers
