Thing is these have both color and the nail and breed true. Cross a hypo pastel father with clear nails to a female hypo pastel with clear nails all come out hypo pastel with clear nails. This is why people feel the need to put (with clear nails) next to there hypo pastels cause people stick this name to a dragon showing a pastel colors. I never see orange dragon (with clear nail) ever or any color for that matter. Always hypo pastel (with clear nails). They are different without a doubt. You will never see a hypo pastel walk out of either Sandfire or the Dachiu with colored nails.. Inbreeding?? I don't think so I think rather they breed true and outcrossing can be done without effecting the color of the nails. Maybe why these days we are seeing some orange and red hues in some pastels. | ||
