uhhh... in our house- the dogs are the last thing in the world that would be in "danger"... we have german shepherds so i guess it all depends on what kind of dog you have... I have a cat- rather STILL have a cat. snakes come out- she goes off and hides- we have ferrets- the snakes and ferrets arent in the same room and i've never been bit by a big snake around the ferrets... i have a bird... one of our burms came in eating roosters and wont eat rabbits for me yet... cockatoo/rooster/food/whatever- still not been bit...

i am a firm believer on fed snakes- not over fed- just NOT under fed... never had a problem... if the snake isn't hungry... why would it 'eat' your dog?
