I've got german shepherds & burmese pythons, too. My dogs stay outside, though. When I take my snakes outside some of my dogs have to come check it out but I run them off. My male shepherd weighs about 100 pounds but I guarantee you that it wouldn't be a bit of problem for either my 9ft or 10ft burmese to grab & kill him.
On the same token, it wouldn't be a bit of problem for my male shepherd to grab one of my snakes & kill it, either.
For the sake of any dog, I suggest keping the dog away from the snake while the snake's out of it's cage. There should be no issues while the snake is in it's cage, unless the dog is in the cage with it, of course.
For the sake of you & your family, make sure you wash arms & hands before handling snake so it didn't confuse dog scent as prey. I had a 4ft corn try to swallow my son's arm because he had been handling a cat beforehand.
The snakes should become pretty much oblivious to any inside dog it sees on a regular basis. It won't be continuously trying to get out to eat the dog.
I hope I understood your question and gave you the answer you were looking for. If not, set me straight and I'll try again. Ha! Ha!
Take care!
