RE: question regarding burms and dogs

I have an Australian Shepherd and two cats, along with a Burm and other snakes. I check cage locks every night. When the snake comes out, I make sure the other pets are put up...curiosity killed the cat and all. I've never had a prey response from any of my snakes from cats and dogs being around, but I have had help from the cats in finding a loose snake. I just play it safe and keep the furries put away so no one tries to get anyone else.
