I agree with HH. I have to Rotts one 100 lbs and the other 85. That was always my biggest fear. No matter how big the dog is, the snake is the perfect killing machine as long as it can get a coil around. I never let the two get even close to eachother. The snake came out and the dogs went away. I even get that way when they are little. I can hold them and the dogs do not need to be locked up but at the same time I do not let them get near me. Its just safer for the snake and the dog not to get close, because one never knows what will happen. As for smell, I guess since the dogs are on me already it has not been a problem, I do not own any other fuzzies but if I did, I would for sure take a bath before I held the snake. Thats just me though.
