just feed him pre killed or frozen thawed prey outside of its enclosure. I have a big wild caught scrub python that was similar, bitey, until i began this routine: put dead mice in a pillow case or whatever, wash hands, pick up snake and place in bag, give adequate time to feed and return to enclosure. If your snake has a strong feed response it should take dead prey and will soon disassociate anything other than the this routine with feeding. And above all be the boss! Dont let an angry snake get the best of you. Its easy to fall for their bluff of striking and biting. But in reality bites dont hurt and theres nuttin to worry about.
