Posted by: JL283467 at Fri Nov 23 13:49:57 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by JL283467 ] I was able to speak with a reptile specialist about transporting Chams. i used small plastic transport containers with a piece of fake ivy taped to the lid. The container had a piece of paper towel in the bottom that i misted to water to keep humidity in the container up. I then placed these containers in a dark cardboard box with heat pack that kept the box at 75 degrees for the entire 1700-mile trip. It took me around 33 straight hours to drive from New Orleans to New Hampshire. I am very happy to say that everyone made it safely. I also transported two bearded dragons, 3 pacman frogs and a very large and angry pyxie frog that is still angry with me. [ Hide Replies ]
