I personally like to use paper towels. This is because they do stay soaked when you spray them and the heat causes the water to evaporate causing the humidity you need. Also, you can see exactly where the snake peed or pooped and it's an easy change! But the MAIN REASON I use paper towels, is because since it is easy to clean, it helps prevent Resp Infections. I had Sani Chips at first and one day my heater stopped working, and BOOM he got a resp infection. Now I use the paper towels. They are more beneficial. Hope this helps!
