Posted by: FLAohHerper at Wed Oct 31 18:23:33 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by FLAohHerper ] So I had what I thought, and personally probed, were 2 females in the same enclosure for the last few weeks to wait until the pairing process beings very soon. They have both eaten and stayed out of eachother's way,and today I walk in,and...they are copulating! So first,I need to work on my probing skills I guess, second, I'd like to figure out which is the male(they are both about 6 to 7 feet long), and rethink some of my pairing.I just don't understand while all of the sudden they decided to go at it..although I do live in S.FLA and it has been cooler and raining lately, so that may have triggered it.It sure was a nice suprise thought. Is there a good way to tell male/female from copulating position..Like maybe the male's tale is the one that wraps over the females?Oh well,It was a nice suprise and I guess this is a good sign to start my other pairing.Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? | ||
