Had a lot of posts on here about retained eye sheds, so read the history, but there is not much mention of scotch tape. I have had several problem shedders, and usually let them work it out on their own, with plenty of humidity. (Humid NOT WET). As a last resort, you can use the tape. Put a half inch piece into a roll as if you are going to tape a pic to the wall. put it over your finger, hold the snake still, (an extra set of hands may help here) and roll the tape over the eye, front to back. (Nose to tail) it may take several "rolls", but it is better to persist a few times, than to push too hard on the eye (some pressure is needed, but if it looks as if you are pushing the eye into the head, then its too hard. remember, their eyes are much more resillient than ours, so don't be TOO gentle. experiment, and never be more rough than you are comfortable with). If you can find someone with some experience with this method, get them to show you. It is amazingly easy once you know how, and if done quickly, it isn't too stressful for your snake. If no luck, give him a soak, and try again after 24 hours.
