Soooo... I introduced my boas months ago back when most folk's were finishing up the baby season. Figured what the heck, since my temps had altered a bit via putting an AC in the bedroom that is attached to the living/snake room. Mega breeding activity for months from two pairs of boas up until a month ago. I didn't notice ovulation, just gradual swelling in one of the females. Despite the gradual swelling over a long period of time (months), which I assumed to be signs of gravidity (is that a word? LOL!), the male rode her for a couple months longer and started really missing the goal if you know what I mean.

I had kept record in a calendar, several of them unfortunately, and lost one while moving. So I have no idea when she shed, but it was a couple months ago at least. The thing is that she is enormous and has only been fed a rat or two over the last couple months since I figured her gravid, which she never strikes or coils, but considers for awhile before eating slowly.

Here is a picture of her before she was introduced to the male...

Here is a picture of the big fatty from tonight... the picture only gives an idea of how big she is and unfortunately doesn't show the rest of her massive self that she's managed to fold inwards in the section of her against the wall.

And to complete this long-winded discussion, I just got home from work (three 12 hour days out of town) and saw what appeared to be a nasty pile of mostly urates and a little poo. I've read about waxy stools... Do you think this is a waxy stool? It is downright gooey looking... I never really paid attention to the stool when expecting litters before, but having read on it... now wonder if I really know what to look for.

Here is the Nasty mess... gross I know, but I need to know if this is what a 'waxy stool' looks like and who better to ask than you guys ;p

Thanks for looking and any info you've got to give... I didn't expect her to take so early on, and she is looking so big that I think I should be keeping an eye on her...
