Yes,most definitely quarantine them yourself!...It would be bad enough to lose a new animal...but to lose those you already have(and those you yourself have hatched),would be devastating!
Mites have a way of showing up from the strangest sources..trust that!(Not that mites would kill the animal,but if the ch snake had contracted a disease they could carry it to your other animals.)
