I know there are other members that have much more experience than I do but here's my two cents...



I think the 421D will work great for your snakes. I bought a 422D over the summer. I only got the taller version because I think it looks better and I'm not strained for space. I also only keep one snake in there. My CRB seems to really like cruising the big cage at night. Unfortunately she spends most of her day in one of the hides I have, go figure I buy her a great big home and she hides in a $2 tuperware with some moss.



As for the heating a got a 1.5 heater from Boaphile. This seems to work great and with a thermostat keeps the temps in a great range.



As of right now I'm only a collector/pet owner. For the breeding aspect there are a ton of qualified people to help you out, like Dave and Jeff off the top of my head. They'll be able to give you a better idea from a breeders perspective but I think the 421 will work great for you.
