It's always good to hear what is working for others before making a purchase.



Especially thanks Dave for your input as you are in the same "rough" neck of the woods as I am(San Jose isn't that far from Sacramento ).



Yeah the house does not get that cold and the room the reptiles are in is one of the warmest in the house. I just wasn't sure about which heating option to choose because I have no experience with flexwatt personally.



Out of curiosity do you guys place your cages on the floor or raised up? In my place they would be on hardwood floor if I don't raise them up. I'd like to postpone the added expenditure of the matching boaphile stand/base until later but I could put together a cheep stand for now to just get them up off the floor if necessary.
