Pros and cons?
Well if I really had to force myself to think of pros:
*Not having to spend money on a separate enclosure
*One less cage to clean (but cleaning it twice as much)
Cons:
*Hmm...one snake is going to definitely outgrow the other and possibly eat it, but definitely stress the smaller.
*As with housing multiple snakes of any kind, you lose the ability to determine who is having problems defecating or passing urates, regurging, etc.
My rule of thumb is that if I can't afford to house it, feed it, or take it to the vet if necessary, then I don't need to own it. I also never house different species together in the same cage...just not good herping. Snakes aren't social. Just because the care is similar doesn't exactly mean you stick them in a cage together.
