Odd behavior for breeding female

1st time posting at this forum and my first time breeding any snakes. This weekend I put my male BRB in my female BRB cage. Walked away for 20 minunets and came back and noticed that the female seemed to be exposing her cloaca to the male who hasen't been intrested in the least. Just below her anal plate was a red swollen mass and she would pull it in as shes moves. I have chondros and have experinced many prolapse before and this did not look like that kind of thing. She's perfectly noramal down there when I looked today. Has anyone noticed the female courting this way, is this normal?



My male dosn't seem intrested at all and is always at the other end of the cage. They are both of age and size and 1st time breeders. Any suggestions on how to get his libido going? he hasn't gone off feed like my chondro males do. How long should I leave them together?
