some randmom NY stuff

one more post, for now lol random herpto fauna from NY mostly oswego county



common snapper (chelydra serpentina)











midland painted turtle (chrysemys picta marginata)



dropping some eggs







american toad (bufo americanus) in a tree







wood frogs in amplexus (lithobates sylvatica) freezing cold too







an old pics but I like it grey treefrog (hyla versicolor)







moster spotted sal (ambystoma maculata)







and a 6 footer







northern slimy sal (plethodon glutinosis)











northern spring sal (GYRINOPHILUS P PORPHYRITICUS)







northern redback guarding eggs (plethodon cinerus)







jefferson salamander (ambystoma jerffersonianum)











saved the snakes for last to keep your interest



start with some common snakes



northern water snake (nerodia sipedon)











eastern garter snake (thamnophis sirtalis)







northern brown snake (storeria dekayii)











a few eastern milksnakes (lampropeltis t triangulum)



















and a final pic



eastern massasauga rattlesnake (sisturus c catenatus)











thats a good variety for now I got lots more pics for the winter.....happy hibernation everyone
