Hmmm, maybe snakes are smarter than we realize. Your corn snake sounds like a real character. Did you get rid of him because of his crappy habit?

I'm almost positive that he pooped on everyone that ever held him, and my bed. I made the same mistake of always letting him explore my bed, man was that dumb I ended up washing my sheets more times than I can remember because of that little guy.
