As far as behavior goes bearded dragons are VERY friendly (most of the time). I have 2 dragons, I have never been bit by either of them! At first a hatchling will be skitish but with handling say 1-2 times a day you can get your dragon to sit on your shoulder lol. I think dragons are very nice as far as personality goes. but thats just my thoughts. =)
