I have some experience with ackies and found them to be a lot of fun. I finally have the resources to get a little more involved with the reptile addiction and was thinking about putting ackies on the list. Feeding with my other critters is no problem being that they all eat f/t rodents. However, I HATE crickets. They smell. I don't care how well I care for them...they end up smelling. To be honest, I don't wanna have to deal with them at all anyway.

So, would raising ackies on a rodent only diet be acceptable.
I really don't see why not being that other monitors species are maintained almost completely on a rodent diet.
