Croc tongue color change

I have a (WC) female croc that is about 4 years old and I recently noticed that her tongue seems to have changed colors. The tongue used to be black and now it's a yellowish-pink. Is this normal? Could this be a sign of becoming mature? She does have a clean bill of health.
