I just got caught up on the Paradigm genetics discussions following the proposed "ParaHet" nomenclature post by Mike at Basically Boas from a couple weeks back.
I have done quite a bit of work during the last couple of months developing some pages for the BoaMorph website to provide a clear explanation of the Paradigm genetics, the reason that the ParaHets needed a name, and lots of test cross examples. Some of these materials still need some refinement and I'm hoping to get it all uploaded to our website within the next few weeks, but I thought a sneak preview might be helpful to those still struggling to understand how it all works.
I'll follow this with a series of posts so that none of them get too large, and if you're interested you can go through them in order and hopefully acquire a clear understanding of the workings of the Paradigm genetics. I hope you find this useful.
As these materials are still under development, I welcome any and all feedback that may help to improve them - constructive comments/criticism preferred, but if you feel that you have to be brutal I won't be offended.
Thanks for looking!
