RE: Heat resistant tape

Aluminum tape works well with 90 deg temps on heat pads, and I have gotten it up to 105 deg F with no issue at all. I do not know the upper limit. They sell it in the metal duct section of those DIY stores.



Is this a more permanent application? Epoxy putty works well, and there is a high-temp-resistant formula sold at DIY stores for about $4.00. I use regular epoxy putty right on lamp bases. So far, so good.
