The most consistant and "successful" breeder of B. dendrofila in the US (that I'm aware of) is Bill Gillingham of The Great Valley Serpentarium. Bill currently has an ad on the venomous classifieds for False Water Cobras.



I know another young man in Virginia Beach, Virginia (Chad Hulker) who has had success with these animals as well. Perhaps one or both of these gentlemen would share some information with you about all your questions if you contact them.



I've had a few mangrove snakes and there's nothing special about their care. Treat them like a Burmese python as far as temperature and humidity requirements and feed them like a ratsnake..... One "tip" on breeding I heard is to allow for a very tall enclosure for the female, into which you want to introduce the male from below... it seems they chase their girls up a tree in order to court them...
