As far as I know, the best person to talk with about the mangroves is Bill Gilingham from www.snakemuseum.com HE breeds and cares for them as well as anybody. I have also been breeding the Black and Yellow phase for a few years. I do know that captive borns are FAR better than imports in ALL respects especially FEEDING. I CHOOSE to feed mine chicks. Females, upon fertilization, should lay 2-3 clutches of long colubrid looking eggs. I have had 2-6 eggs per clutch 3 times in a year with NO other contact from the male.
