I purchased this boa back around 1994 from Glades Herp.
Bill Love was still there. I was on the phone with Bill. He told me I'd really like this snake. Boy, he was right! When he asked Rob where it was from, I didn't hear Rob's reply.
The snake was female and probably not much more than a month old when I got her. Very small. Always a short stocky boa. Never reached 6 ft. in overall length.
She was much cleaner and had a good amount of pink on the sides when young.
Any ideas on who produced her or who imported her?
For some reason I tend to think she is an an import.
I bought quite a few very nice Peruvians from Glades back then.
She was the first and always my favorite.
This photo was taken in 2004. She was gravid at the time. Produced small litter (12 or 13 follicles as I recall) with absolutely huge babies.
