RE: CITES permits slowdown

This CITES situation is really hurting me. I'm an importer from Thailand.

Last year it took my broker 1-2 weeks to get re-export CITES for CH Ball Python. Now it's 4 months already and they still haven't gotten CITES what the heck? I've paid 50% deposit on everything I ordered with them and I'm sure they can't hold those animals for me for this long. I don't even want to think what'll happen once they get CITES.

Some breeders in the US told me that to get CB CITES approved is a very very long term process and it's hurting them too because their customers don't want to pay deposit on animals that will take months to get there. In the meantime, the breeders must take deposit too...
