You are right about the basking site...90 at night 95 during the day, but it is radiant heat from above and I expected her to regulate by not positioning herself completely under it. She's actually an IMG (Increasing Melanin Gene) specimen and it has been fascinating watching her colors change while she has grown up with a normal male. She had plenty of girth weighing 2000 grams at beginning of the breeding season so she should have no problem passing the eggs. Hope to post again in a few days when I find the eggs have been laid!
