He's young and has only been w/ you for a very short while. Mind you, I've never switched a CB gopher to f/t before, but I have had success feeding WC Gophers pre- killed. That said, I would continue feeding live for now, and wait to try f/t when the snake appears to become more "comfortable" w/ you or more settled into his new home. Best of luck.
