Anyone Try Alfalfa Pellets?

I was at my local feed and bedding place, when I saw they were selling Alfalfa cubes for far cheaper than the rodent diet. I'm curious if anyone has or currently uses them and what their results were or are. The cost is about 5X cheaper per pound.
