Rat's cannot digest alfalfa. Any brand's of food for rats that contain alfalfa is crap. Kaytee, oxford, those are the worst diets. Mazuri, Harlan and a few others are excellent choices. The only hay product I let my animals eat is Timothy hay for my pregnant girls as a treat. It's sweet and they love it.
