Baby Boa loose in house since Nov15.Help

I lost a baby sunglow in my house on Nov 15th. Its now Dec 21st and still no signs of it. I believe that the snake is somewhere in the heating system in my walls. The snake is 18" long and could perhaps be anywhere. I live in a single family house in the North East and its been between 10-45 degress outside since it got loose. Any ideas on how to find it. Do you think its gone? Please tell any stories about your lost herps in your house. I still keep the faith.
