Posted by: KyleFrost at Tue Dec 25 00:13:12 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by KyleFrost ] Assuming you've already turned the house upside down and looked in every dumb place that seems uncomfortable for a boa there is a contraption that can be credited to the cornsnake nerds. If you cut off the top 1/3 of a two liter bottle and invert it so that the cap would be facing inside the bottle it makes a large funnel that is easy for a snake to enter but tough to get out of. Maybe a live fuzzy that is harmless and cant escape would put off enough stink, warmth or movement to attract your boa as bait. Or if it were me and it was 10 degrees at night i'd line the floor next to the walls with mouse glue boards and work the boa off with some mineral oil when it shows up on one of them. The boa will not be happy to be covered in glue and oil but i work in a pet store where we use glue boards to catch loose crickets and if there is ever a loose snake this is where it turns up. good luck [ Hide Replies ]
