Any camera thats over 5mg and used in Macro mode will do pretty much the same thing.The higher the Pixel rate the better.
I'm by far a photographer,but I have figured out the limits of my Nikons Macro feature and do get some pretty killer pics.
Matter of fact I shoot all my pics in this mode.
Indoor shots are a challenge without proper lighting,the flash on most "point/shoot"style cameras suck to say the least.
I miss alot of cool in cage shots because of it too
