Made this(and another one) with 3/4" slightly damaged shelving from a local furniture factory. 57" long X 19" deep X 9" high(each enclosure), plexiglass sliding doors(lock with wood dowels), no treatment, paint or coating of any kind. Been in use for 12 years, housing large northern pines and ratsnakes, kings and milks. I have had a little rotting/swelling in a couple corners where they defecate often but it still works great.
