the thing is you didnt seem to get my point. you put a boy and a girl together in a small space something will more than likely happen. you tried calling it an oops when in all reality there is no oops when it comes to breeding boas. males are easy to spot with thier spurs. so you cant use the "i just simply didnt know" there is no reason to house snakes together so the oops thing wont work for that either.

I suppose my response would have been different if you would have said to start off "I wanted to try something different and breed x to x" your original post made it sound like you werent trying for it at all when in fact the post I originally responded to said

" i just havent seen one (peruvian) that was a salmon. and i say why not? just think down the line of what could be."

I am well aware of novice breeders being here asking questions but its good practice to ask before you try. as I believe Richard Carew stated with his response

I understand the whole competition thing, and trying to generate spark, but you will have a mixed litter now. Should have just stuck in the shed of another male so you would maintain control of your breeding efforts.

in my opinion like I said, if you didnt mean to do it then why did you allow the circumstances for your animals to get in the situation? If you ment to do it to see what would happen then why make it seem like it was an accident? If you cant take critisizm then why put yourself in that situation? I apologize if you find any of this as an attack on you because I really didnt mean it to come off that way at all. I find beauty in a lot of hybrids and I have defended it by saying on different posts if they can do it let them do it. I just cant stand a man going back on his judgement saying it was an accident when it in all reality wasnt.
