I am looking to upgrade my temperature control systems.
I am looking at Johnson Controls, RANCO, Spyder Electronics, and others.
I would love to hear what any of you have for experience with any higher wattage thermostats. I am interested in your thoughts on accuracy, reliability, and lifespan. ((I do not want to end up with a situation like the Flexwatt post below.))
Links to other online thermostat resources would be greatly appreciated.
I am also looking for a better temperature “alarm system”…. Like one that will call me, e-mail me and/or text me if the temperatures get out of a set range or if the power goes off. (Even better would be where I can check the temps online or call to see what temperatures the different probes are at… which I think the Spyder Herpstat can do).
It will be my NEW YEARS gift to myself, and I want the most reliable product available.
Thanks for any input… ----- Bryan Hummel
