There seems to be some confusion about care sheets. Care sheets are simply a starting point. A way to set the critter up. Some care sheets are very good, some, so so, some are crap. I have seen the one I wrote on another site and Pro Exotic's to be mentioned mostly. (Guess I'm in good company hehe) Compare these to the one on lil Ms. Kaplin’s site and you will see what I’m talking about. By studying the biology of what every critter you have or are getting and you will know what care sheets are worth reading. Some care sheet on savs will work for niles, albigs, argus, ackies and many other monitors with slight varioations on cage sizes and diet. Once you have the cage set up, watch your critter, listen to what it says and make the needed changes. Just like when people say use dirt. Not all dirt is equal. At one time I was keeping savs, albigs and argus’ and tegus, all had different substrates. Find what your critter will use. Now if you have multiple critters sharing the same cage, the fun begins. More of everything, from places to hide and burrow, to water bowls, to basking sites.
Scott ----- Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
