...tail chasing.
background: I've had pablo for a little over 4 years know, he has never had any health issues(except for the obligatory pet shop reptile mites), he was tamed by me and has had no aggression or fear problems up until very recently. He has been handled almost every day since I got him, but recently he has been spooking every time I go to pick him up or maintain his enclosure. A few days ago he charged me with his mouth open while I was cleaning. He has also started chasing his tail and biting it when he catches it, like a dog. I had him out last night and did a thorough check for abrasions, cuts, or painful swollen areas to no avail. I use melissa kaplans diet as a base for his plan. No major changes recently in living situations or schedules.
Cn: Out of the blue Iguana spooks when I'm cleaning his enclosure and avoids being handled, and actually charged me a few days ago when I was cleaning. He has also started chasing his tail. Need advice.
Here is a semi recent picture of the suspect in question.
