My petco's actually pretty clean, I've never seen a dirty reptile cage there and all the ones that have been there for a while look well fed(except the baby leos but they just arrived when I saw them 2 days ago). Turns out the manager of the reptile area owns a lot of reptiles, and she's tried to get them to change them off of sand but they wont let them, its 'company policy'
petsmart on the other hand, doesnt know what they're doing. I used to work for them in another department. they would have to pull me for any reptile information, always giving out the wrong info to people.
