we had a guy about 10 hours away wanting to get rid of all his animals- we picked up 4 decent size iguanas, as well as several LARGE snakes.
We used the med size dog/cat crates to move them, we just sat them on the seat behind us and they sat and watched us drive- we didn't have a way of 'letting them out to strech' as they all had tempers and we'd just gotten them.

they seemed to do fine with a 10 hour drive- they were crowded but ate like champs when we got them home....

i think yous would be fine in a box or crate...
