You were all so helpful on our igs diet that I am back with more questions. How small should I chop up the food for this little guy? Again I would say he is 6 inches or so from nose to vent.

Imagine a standard #2 pencil – remove the eraser (visible section only) and cut it in half, this is approximately the size we aim for. I was reading that some people use a blender, so perhaps I am harming my igs digestive system by forcing him to eat too large of food pieces? We grate the carrots....so I guess that’s good

After work tonight I am picking up as many of the items listed on iguanaden.org’s diet page. We will mix up enough to last a week or so and see how long it lasts in the fridge – we will also switch to feeding him twice a day, so far we have just fed him once a day.
