So I am a relative newbie to this and want to make sure I am going about it in a way that will be the most successful and rewarding.



My pair has beed cooled since the middle of november. I acquired a new female with I cooled down late december after its purchase. Should I keep all the snakes down longer to compensate for this on female or can I take her out of brumation a month later and have my male still ready to go? My temperatures are averaging around 70 in the day and 58-60 at night.(On a side note does anyone know if these temps will work for my knoblochi pair?)



Assuming everything goes to plan with the copulation I plan to fill gladware with moist perlite and leave it in the cages when egg laying is due. I am then going to place these with a replaced lid into a hoverbator at 80-82. Do I fill the bottom of the hovabator with water as well as keeping the perlite moist?



What is a cost effective and reliable way to house hatchlings? Is there something easier that making another rack or is that the way to go? (Has anyone used gladware in a rack. they are cheap and the hatchling rack is kind of a temporary thing.
