LOL yep they're my nails.. I've been blessed with thick hard nails that don't break very easily and so for years I've used all kinds of brands of 99 cent polish on them. What can I say?

I'm lucky that way so I don't spend a fortune on manicures, I've never had a professional one.

Anyway...

That dark spot on Chip is acrylic that hasn't popped off yet. Under that small bit were/are dog teeth marks. I'd bet they're healed too.

No it's not pretty but I think it's amazing that he not only lived through all this but he has grown new shell back in.

I had thought of letting him stay outside this year..but right now that white new growth seems kind of fragile. We'll see how it's looking this coming May, maybe he can stay out.
